The third sensory component to Gestalten Veldt is smell. In working closely with Arnaud Poulain, the nose of Les Eaux Primordiales, Erik Madigan Heck was able to articulate the spirit of The Garden and Safe Passage into two distinct perfumes.

The Garden was conceived as a celebration of life, and is comprised of Black-current, Rhubarb, Fig Leaves, Freesia, Iris, Vetiver, Amber, and White Muscs.

Conversely, Safe Passage was made as a meditation on death, and is composed to react differently to each person’s pheromones leaving the skin subtly, mimicking the soul as it exits the body. Safe Passage is built using White Amber, Jasmine, Vetiver, and Ambroxan.
